Founder note
The idea for Ledger Lens sits at the intersection of three careers: HMRC operational experience, banking compliance and applied machine learning. UK practices are asked to reason about enquiry risk without a shared, evidence-based signal. This platform is our attempt to build one — transparently and with respect for the ICAEW code.
On our approach to HMRC data
The enquiry-risk model uses only publicly-available HMRC enforcement disclosures. We do not use privileged data, and we surface every driver of every score. This posture is a design choice we are willing to defend publicly.
